ATS Consulting

Hi — I’m Bert Stevens

I help small teams run Microsoft 365 with enterprise-level clarity, security, and documentation.

The Name “ATS”

The "ATS" in ATS Consulting comes from my full legal name, Albert Thomas Stevens, III. But most people just call me Bert. ATS also honors the memories of my father, Albert Thomas Stevens, Jr., and my grandfather, Albert Thomas Stevens, Sr. They modeled the habits I bring to client work: fairness, craftsmanship, and accountability. That legacy shows up in how I scope, document, and stand behind every change I make.

Why I Started ATS Consulting

After years building and maintaining Microsoft 365 environments, I saw the same pattern — unclear policies, inconsistent setups, and no paper trail. I created ATS Consulting to bring an enterprise-grade baseline — simple, secure, and well-documented — to organizations that don’t have a full-time IT department.

I also manage Microsoft 365 full-time for a financial organization, which keeps me close to every new feature, policy shift, and security update. Consulting lets me share that experience with teams that don’t need a full-time admin. I only take a few clients at a time, so when we work together, you get my full attention — not a handoff to someone else.

How I Work

  1. Discover — Understand people, risks, and goals before touching settings.
  2. Baseline — Implement the right defaults: Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Teams.
  3. Document — You get artifacts that explain exactly what changed and why.

Where I Add the Most Value

Most client work lands in these core areas of Microsoft 365:

What You Can Expect

  1. Clear scope and upfront expectations
  2. Minimal disruption during changes
  3. Hand-off notes written in plain English
